REN Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial – Review

Well, it’s not often that you try a new product and it instantly transforms your skin, but I can truly say this does just that!

I had seen all the positive news and reviews about this product and decided to give it a go.  I do love vitamin C and strongly believe in its power to brighten and reduce pigmentation – so as it has ‘water-activated vitamin C’ I was easily seduced (vitamin C is quite unstable and loses potency quickly if not stored correctly or kept stable by some other means – so this sounded interesting!). I must be honest that I wasn’t expecting it to be quite this good…

I was very surprised by the texture, it shoots out of the tube with short tiny bursts, as if it was finely chopped ice being squeezed through a funnel, but it’s actually rather soft and non abrasive. You can instantly smell what I associate with ascorbic acid/vitamin C (I take ascorbic acid in a powdered form mixed with water from Holland & Barrett, it’s an excellent product and can also be used to make your own vitamin C creams and serums at home), sour and a little like iron – this may just be my own interpretation – my point is it smells like something that is going to work!

After rubbing onto a dry/dryish clean face,  wet your hands and continue to massage to activate the vitamin C. Then leave on for one minute, rinse and feel the difference! Skin is super soft, smooth, bright and clear – literally transformed, the before and after feeling is like night and day. The formula also contains Boswellic Acid to relax facial muscles and Glycogen Magnesium for energy and radiance – to be honest I hadn’t heard of either of these before, but I think I like them already! As with all REN products, there are no nasties in there either.

It is recommended that you use this a couple of times a week – I’m desperately trying to resist using it every day!

The Flash Rinse 1 Minute Facial is available anywhere you can buy REN products including selected Boots, all department stores and online from renskincare.com.  It costs £32 for 75ml, so fantastic value for money 🙂

This is an absolute must-have product for fresh, bright skin.

Let me know if you have tried it and what you think!
